Craig 'Fod' Stretch came top of the HB league in 2008 with 3 points. I'm sure there will be plenty of contenders for the coveted 2009 title. It's not what you do, or don't do, it's how you do it that counts!

THIS WEEK'S HEADBANGER IS

 07/06/09 - Joe King, of the Jonno, may have scored a 180 against the Cons, but he also had the misfortune of hitting 3 so gets his first point on the HBOTW. Mark James (pictured in his company car) is making a one-man attempt to win this year's HB award with his third point of the season, this time for three out of the board!!

10/05/09 - Keith Osman (Fountain) gets a point for scoring 3 and another one for having a peg attached to the back of his shirt for the duration of the day.      Mark James, also of the Fountain also gets two points for scoring three twice!

05/04/09 - The Dr Johnson had a hat-trick of nominations this week: Kev Sawyer for scoring 3; Arch Hyndman for scoring 2 and Carl Sawyer for asking how many he had left (not normally a HBOTW contender, but he was on double 11, and hit 11 then asked how many were left - I think he takes after his mum!).

29/03/09 – Glen Cullen for his score of 3 and Ade parker & Denis Rynn for sharing a 68 dart leg (which Ade eventually won)

15/02/09 - Frank Sawyer for scoring 2 on his singles debut - but he did win the game.... eventually!

08/02/09 - One addition from last week, LCFCA's Phil 'The Powder' Taylor scored 3, not once, not twice but THREE TIMES to earn himself a point and join the coveted HBOTW leader board. Keith 'Nice Darts' Woodley  managed a score of one on Sunday so he also gains membership.

01/02/09 - haven't had any nominations for this week but Matt Fisher didn't turn up for the meeting last week so he gets the first HOTW of 2009. Matt's the treasurer of the league and nobody was able to pay any money in!
